Dr. Dari Alhuwail

Dr Dari Alhuwail is a Fellow of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics, a Fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association, a member of the WHO Digital Health Technical Advisory Group, and an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Science in the College of Life Sciences, Kuwait University. Currently, he serves as the Acting Assistant Vice President for Institutional Development at Kuwait University. Dr. Alhuwail obtained his Ph.D. in Information Systems with a specializing in Health Informatics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and his Master’s and Bachelor’s from the University of Arizona. He has over 12 years working in industry and in various research labs around the world. Dr Alhuwail continues to be an avid health informatics leader inspiring others and contributing to health informatics science.
